Lt. Colonel U.S. Air Force, Retired (Pilot)

Lt. Colonel Thomas H. “Tommie” Turner is a graduate of Parker-Gray High School. During his junior year at Savannah State College, he enlisted in the USAF and served as a B-47 combat-ready jet pilot.  He served in a variety of air transportation, management, and command and staff positions, while also serving in the cartography, photo mapping, and photo-intelligence career field.
